Frequently Asked Questions

What are the start and end times for WM2020?

Programming will begin around 4:30pm on Wednesday, October 7th. Conference programming ends by 10am on Sunday, October 11th. If you choose to walk in graduation after the conference, the ceremony will end by 2pm on the 11th.

How full are the conference days? Will I have down time?

Thursday, Friday and Saturday (October 8th-10th) will have speaker sessions and workshops running from 9am-5:30pm, and additional optional activities like yoga, meditation, starting as early as 6am and running until 9pm each day. You are free to schedule your day as you wish and take rest and down time as needed.

Can I bring a spouse/friend/family member to the summit? Can they participate in any activities without purchasing a ticket?

Of course! While all summit attendees need to purchase a ticket to access all programming, we released a limited number of companion passes that includes entry into our welcome dinner, farewell reception, and a few hands on activities. Companion passes will not have access to speaker sessions, workshops, or lunches. Companion passes are available on the registration page and cost $375.

Spouses/family are also absolutely welcome to join you at Turtle Bay without purchasing the companion pass. There are so many amazing activities to take advantage of at the resort while you are participating in the summit.

I want to buy a VIP ticket. Can I have a spouse/friend stay in the room with me?

Absolutely. Your hotel room is yours to use as you wish. The room rate included in the VIP ticket includes resort fees for up to 2 adults, though rooms accommodate 1-4 occupants. Additional fees may apply at hotel check in for more than 2 adults in a room.

I’d like to split the cost of  a hotel room with another attendee. Is this possible?

There are a number of attendees who would like to find a WM2020 roommate! To get on the list for a roommate match, please email info@wellnessmedicinesummit.com.

Does Wellness Medicine Summit fulfill any course requirements for Quantum University?

If you are a current student at QU, this conference fully satisfies the Practicum Requirement (IB-701 and IB-702) in your degree program at Quantum University.

I plan to walk in graduation on the final day of the summit. Can I invite friends/family to watch?

Of course! We welcome family and friends to celebrate in your accomplishment. There is no charge for graduation spectators, and QU faculty will reach out closer to the date to gather the number of supporters attending.

I want to attend, but can’t afford to pay all at once. Are payment plans available?

Yes – payment plans are available on our registration page. To see the available options, add your ticket of choice to your cart and select “Pay Deposit” instead of “Pay in Full”.

How do I get to Turtle Bay Resort?

Turtle Bay Resort is located in North Shore, Oahu. The closest airport is Honolulu (HNL) about 1 hour away from Turtle Bay. For all travel information, head to our travel page here.

Do I need a REAL ID to travel to Hawaii?

The Real ID Act goes into effect on October 1st, 2020. This is a US federal law that requires an updated ID or passport for US domestic travel. If you are traveling from outside the US – this does not affect you. If you are traveling from within the US, please refer to this website for information on how to make sure you comply

I unfortunately cannot attend the Summit in 2020. When will the next one be?

Oh no! We will miss you. We do not have a future date at this time. We normally announce the next date at the event itself, but we will do our best to announce it earlier this time around. It will likely be in 2022.
